Steve Challouma, General Manager at Birds Eye UK
Steve Challouma is the General Manager of Birds Eye UK, the brand leader in UK Frozen Foods, encompassing the Birds Eye, Aunt Bessie’s and Goodfella’s brands. He has spent over 20 years in the FMCG industry, starting his career at Unilever.
Steve was previously Marketing Director, where he led the team that turned around the Birds Eye brand delivering three years of growth and winning the coveted Grocer Gold award in 2019 for best FMCG brand. He is a passionate advocate of sustainable food solutions, working with the Marine Stewardship Council for sustainable fishing, the UK Plastics Pact and the Veg Power initiative, which aims at encouraging children to increase their vegetables consumption.
In 2019, he was named in Campaign’s Power 100, as well as in Marketing Week’s Top 100 Most Effective Marketers.
Steve is married with three Fish Finger and Garden Pea loving children.
