Mhairi’s career spans over 35 years Marketing and Sales Leadership roles with Unilever, based in London, Cairo and Paris, with PepsiCo as VP Marketing Europe (PepsiCo Beverages) and VP Marketing UK (Walkers Snack Foods), including 20 years working in global Capability Consultancy, building the marketing and sales capabilities of world-class multinational clients.
Mhairi is Managing Director, Global Marketing Practice of Accenture and is also President & Co-Founder of Brand Learning, and together with a highly experienced team of Partners, has led Brand Learning for many years as it has expanded from a start up in 2000 to a team of over 170 specialists in transforming organisational Marketing and Sales growth capabilities in over 100 companies, across 60 countries from offices in London, New York and Singapore.
Brand Learning has a unique and distinctive consultancy focus and culture – was awarded No 1 in The Sunday Times ‘Top 100’ Best Companies in 2011 and was in the Top 10 for several years. It has been awarded a series of high profile Marketing, Capability, Industry and Family Friendly working excellence awards.
Mhairi graduated with a first class BSC Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Leicester, is a Fellow of The Marketing Society, and is a Council Member and prior Chair of the Marketing Group of Great Britain (MGGB) representing the top 150 leading marketing, agency and business leaders in the UK. She co-authored “The Growth Drivers” (Wiley) with Andy Bird and was awarded ‘Best Leader’ in The Sunday Times Top 100 ‘Best Companies’ Awards. She has a grown up daughter and a son and splits her time between her home in South West London and walking and sailing on the South coast in Dorset.
